Auto QD enamel paints SPECIFICATION

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

• Durable premium quality low VOC special Resin based enamel for use on metal and wood surface such as trim, moldings, and door, machinery, piping, storage tanks, and equipment
• Its application properties which include excellent flow, leveling, toughness and fast dry provide maintenance with minimum interruption

Recommended Primer:

• Synthetic oil base rust inhibiting Red-Oxide primer for steel
• Synthetic oil base white primer for wood and masonry

Surface Preparation:

• All Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free from oil, grease, dirt, mildew, efflorescence, loose and flaking paint and other foreign particles
• Concrete, plaster, and masonry – prime with latex base primer, if new then allow curing for at least 30 days prior to painting and pH must be lower than 10

Dry Time: At 30 C and 50 RH:

• Surface Dry: 30-45 min
• Tack Free: 3 -4 Hours
• Hard dry: Overnight
• Low temperature, high humidity, the thickness of the film and poor ventilation will increase this time

Note:

• Water-based latex primer is more resistance to the alkaline surface (i.e. a higher pH surface) compared to alkyd base primer, therefore concrete, masonry, and plaster always give better result by using water based latex primer
